Pizza, Pizza, Pizza!

In the same amount of time it takes to place a take out order for pizza, you can definitely make your own healthy, delicious creation at home! Trader Joe’s has the best pre-made crust dough (original or garlic) and is barely over a buck! Top it off just the way you like it and in less than 30 minutes, you’ve got yourself an Italian masterpiece! Not required, but highly recommend usage of a hot pizza stone (drizzled with truffle oil)!

Half 1:
-Coated with BBQ sauce and topped with shredded mexican cheese
-Topped with: pepperoni, chicken (sauteed in garlic and bbq sauce), fresh red onions

Half 2:
-Coated with a white sauce mixture (3/4 mayo, 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 4 garlic cloves minced, 2 tbsp minced basil, dash of salt & pepper)
-Topped with grilled chicken and jalapenos

     

For those on a restricted diet, simply use tortillas instead of pizza dough to cut back on the carbs! Yumm!

For my birthday last year we had a small gathering at the house and I made mini sampler pizzas. They were all pre-made and simply tossed in the oven for 7-9 minutes each round. Super fun way to eat and enjoy dinner tapas style.
